By accessing and using ECHO, you accept and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services.

2. Eligibility

ECHO is currently available exclusively for students of East West University (EWU). To use ECHO, you must:

• Be a current student at EWU
• Have a valid EWU student email address
• Be at least 18 years old
• Agree to use the service responsibly and safely

3. User Accounts

• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
• You must provide accurate and complete information when creating your account
• You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account
• You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account
• You may not share your account with others

4. Acceptable Use

You agree to use ECHO only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree NOT to:

• Use ECHO for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
• Harass, abuse, or harm other users
• Post false, misleading, or inappropriate information
• Impersonate any person or entity
• Interfere with or disrupt the service or servers
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the service
• Use automated systems to access the service without permission

5. Safety and Responsibility

ECHO facilitates connections between students, but you are solely responsible for:

• Your safety when meeting with travel companions
• Verifying the identity and trustworthiness of other users
• Making informed decisions about travel arrangements
• Respecting other users' privacy and boundaries
• Following all applicable laws and regulations

6. Content and User Information

• You retain ownership of content you post, but grant ECHO a license to use it for service provision
• You are responsible for the accuracy of information you provide
• You may not post content that is illegal, harmful, or violates others' rights
• We reserve the right to remove any content that violates these Terms

7. Service Availability

We strive to provide reliable service, but we do not guarantee that ECHO will be available at all times. We may suspend, modify, or discontinue the service at any time with or without notice.

8. Limitation of Liability

ECHO is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any damages arising from your use of the service, including but not limited to:

• Injuries or accidents during travel
• Loss of property or personal belongings
• Misrepresentation by other users
• Service interruptions or technical issues

9. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account immediately, without prior notice, for any violation of these Terms. You may also delete your account at any time through the app settings.

10. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of significant changes. Continued use of ECHO after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
